Itinerary

Day 1 Kozhikode - Wayanad

On arrival at Kozhikode Airport our representative will pick you up and transfer to the Green Paradise called Wayanad. You’ll enjoy every part of the trip as you’ll come across various scenic landscapes and rivers.

Banasura Sagar Dam: It is one of the most visited tourist places. Built on Karamanathodu, the tributary of Kabini River. One of the beautiful views you’ll come across are the islands which are formed on the dam’s reservoir.  This dam is the largest Earth Dam in India and the second largest in Asia.

Pookode Lake: A favorite destination among nature lovers and lake lovers. This scenic lake is surrounded by evergreen trees and hills. This fresh water is of the shape of India’s Map.

Reach Hotel and check in. Overnight stay at Hotel.

 

Day 2 Wayanad

After breakfast, get ready for the sightseeing of Wayanad. Wayanad is undoubtedly one of the beautiful places in whole India. Today we will visit:

Edakkal Caves: Located above 1200 Mts (3,900 Ft), the Edakkal caves are two natural caves, famous for the rock carvings, which is believed to be of around 6000 B.C.  This spot has been a favorite place for Archaeologists from all around the world.

Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary: It is the second largest wildlife sanctuary in Kerala. This wildlife sanctuary has a wide variety of animals like Elephants, Tigers, Panthers, Bears etc. are largely found.

Day 3 Wayanad - Guruvayur

Today after breakfast check out from Hotel and transfer to Guruvayur. Upon reaching check in at hotel. You can visit the temple which is also famous for its architecture and mural paintings. Overnight stay at Hotel.

 

Day 4 Guruvayur - Athirapally

Today early morning get ready for Guruvayur Temple darshan. Guruvayur is considered to be the Dwarka of South India. This temple is very important temple of Shri Krishna devotees. Just 3 kms away there is an elephant camp (Anakotta) which is a major tourist spot and is famous for its elephant sanctuary, housing around 60 elephants. After sightseeing transfer to athirapally.                                                                                  

Day 5 Athirapally - Cochin

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Athirapilly. Athirapilly Waterfalls which is given the nickname “The Niagara of India” is undoubtedly the most beautiful waterfall in Kerala. The height of this magnificent waterfall is about 80 feet which falls into the Chalakudy river. This destination is very popular among tourists. About 5 kms from Athirapilly waterfalls, Vazhachal Falls is situated. This waterfall also flows on the Chalakudy river. This destination should be also on the must visit list.

After athirapilly get ready for the sightseeing of this wonderful city which is fondly called The Queen of Arabian Sea. Visit the major tourist attractions like the Chinese fishing nets, Jewish Synagogue, which is the oldest among the Commonwealth Nations. Dutch palace also known as Mattancherry palace features Kerala Murals. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cochin’s Marine Drive is also a good point to relax and enjoy the city scape. Return to Hotel and overnight stay.

 

Day 6 Cochin - Munnar

After breakfast check out from Hotel and proceed to Munnar, also called the Kashmir of South India. Visit Cheeyapara Waterfalls, Valara Waterfalls, the most famous Tea gardens on the way to Munnar. Upon reaching check in to the Hotel. In Munnar you will visit Eravikulam National Park- The Home of Nilgiri Tahr. This National park is home to 48 species of mammals, 133 species of Birds, 101 species of butterflies and 21 species of Amphibians. It is also the blooming place of Neelakurinji flowers, world’s rarest flowers, an extraordinary phenomenon. These flowers bloom only once in 12 years.

 

Day 7 Munnar

After breakfast we’ll go for a full day sightseeing of the beautiful Munnar Town. We’ll visit Mattupetty Dam, which is surrounded by the tea gardens and forests make this destination much more scenic. One can also take boating at the dam. Other major attractions include Blossom Park, which is a flower garden, Pothamedu View point. Kundala Dam is also an amazing tourist attraction. The dam is Asia’s first Arch Dam. After sightseeing Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 8 Munnar - Thekkady

Check-Out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Thekkady. Thekkady is also known as Periyar. One should definitely visit the Periyar National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary to witness the pristine beauty of nature and the wildlife there. The wildlife includes elephants, Tigers, Deer, Monkeys and various species of birds. You can enjoy elephant ride and boating also.

 

Day 9 Thekkady - Kumarakom
After breakfast drive to Kumarakom, Kumarakom, located on the shore of Venbanad Lake, the largest freshwater of Kerala, is a famous backwater destination among tourists. Kumarakom is also a favorite destination for its variety of flora and fauna. Kumarakom Bird sanctuary is a popular spot for bird watchers. Here many species of migratory birds visit, which make it more charming. Check into Hotel Dinner and Over night stay at hotel.
Day 10 Kumarakom - Alleppey

In the Morning after breakfast, drive to Alleppey (Alappuzha), which is famously known as “Venice of the East”. Alleppey is an exceptional beauty. The backwaters along the line of coconut trees. You can spend your day in houseboat exploring the backwaters of Alleppey.

 

Day 11 Alleppey - Kovalam

Check out from Houseboat and transfer to Kovalam. Kovalam is famous for its three beaches: Lighthouse Beach, Samudra Beach and Hawah Beach. It is also an ideal place to buy spices and handicrafts. This beach town is a scenic beauty as it is covered by lots of coconut trees. 

Day 12 Kovalam
After breakfast we’ll go for a full day sightseeing of Jatayu Nature Park One of the most anticipated tourists spot in the recent times, the Jatayu Nature Park. The main highlight is the giant sculpture of Jatayu, the mythological Demigod of the epic Ramayana. This marvelous destination was designed by Malayalam Film Director Rajiv Anchal. There are also other many facilites and activities like 12D Theatre, Cable Car, Digital Museum, Adventure Zones, Ayurvedic & Siddha Cave Resort.  This Statue is dedicated to the Safety & Honour of Women.Return to Hotel, Dinner and overnight stay.
 
Day 13 Kovalam

After breakfast explore Some of the must visit places like Kovalam Art Gallery, Vellayani Lake, Neyyar Dam, Vizhinjam Rock Cut Cave Temple. Rest of the time is for leisure. Overnight Stay at Hotel.

 

Day 14 Kovalam - Poovar

After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Poovar, The speciality of this place is that the river Neyyar which flows into the Arabian Sea, forms a lake and a beach. This mesmerizing view is one of its kind. Poovar is an all in one destination which includes an island a river bank, a beach and of course the backwaters, a perfect blend of Kerala’s beautiful elements . To enjoy every bit of Poovar, just sit back and relax.

Day 15 Poovar - Kanyakumari

After breakfast check out from hotel and get ready to leave for Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is one of the most famous tourist destinations in India. There are various tourist attractions like

Thiruvalluvar Statue: The 95 feet high statue of is a must visit attraction. The pedestal represents 38 chapters of virtue in the Thirukkural. The statue represents wealth and pleasures.

Vivekananda Rock Memorial: The memorial was built in 1970 in the honour of Swami Vivekananda. There is a Dhyana Mandapam, where one can meditate.

Gandhi Memorial Mandapam: This place holds a special importance as it is exactly the spot where Mahatma Gandhi’s ashes were kept for public viewing before immersion.

 

Day 16 Kanyakumari - Rameshwaram

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Rameshwaram.check-in at Hotel.sightseeing and overnight stay.

Day 17 Rameshwaram
Rameshwaram is considered to be one of the holiest places in to Hindus. It is also a part of the Char Dham Yatra. The Ramanathaswamy is an important temple of Shiva devotees. This town has huge importance in Indian Mythology as well. The Rameshwaram beach is always on the must visit beaches list. Other than that, one can visit: 
Dhanushkodi which is famous for the Shri Ram Temple called Kothandaramaswamy Temple. It is believed to be the spot where Vibhishana, brother of the demonic King Ravan surrendered before Shri Ram in the epic Ramayana. 
Pamban Bridge which spans around 2 kms is a railway bridge which connects Rameshwaram to Pamban Island. It was the longest sea bridge in India (Now the second after Bandra-Worli Sea Link).
Return to Hotel, have Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 18 Rameshwaram - Madurai

After breakfast drive to Madurai it is most famous for Meenakshi Temple and Sundareswar Temple. Ayiram Kaal Madapam which is considered to be one of the most excellent architectural masterpiece of ancient period. The mandapam or Hall is built with 1000 pillars out a single rock. The carvings and design of the temple makes it unbelievable to believe that such perfect architecture could be built in that ancient time. Another special thing about the pillars produce musical notes when struck.

Day 19 Madurai Drop

Today after breakfast check out and Drop to Madurai airport for your onward journey. This tour will be definitely a memorable one with lot of new experiences and wonderful visual treat.
