Guruvayur, the home of Sri Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple. It is believed to be around 5,000 years old. Guruvayur is often regarded as the “Dwarka of South India”. It is also considered to be an important religious place like Sabrimala and Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple. The temple also has an elephant sanctuary, which is one of the largest elephant sanctuaries in the world.
